EYFS Trip - West Lodge Farm
On Tuesday, the Romans and Vikings had a very wet but very enjoyable trip to West Lodge Farm.
We all had a turn at bottle feeding baby lambs. We also enjoyed a bumpy ride on a tractor around the farm and had fun stroking the sheep and the goats.
All the children were very well behaved and staff at the farm commented on how happy and well behaved the children were inspite of the weather.
Well done EYFS!
"I loved feeing the lambs they were so hungry." Sophie
" The goat liked me stroking it's head." Freddie.
Thank you to all parents/carers/grandparents who accompanied us.
Year 1 Trip - Holdenby House
Two trips with two very different experiences due to weather. All of the children thoroughly enjoyed the visit and they discovered new creatures, created natural art and developed their understanding of habitats and trees.
"When I get older, maybe 15, I want to be a scientist and find out about pond and sea creatures." Evie
Year 4 Creative Writing Workshops - University of Northampton
On Tuesday 6th June the Year 4 children went on a trip to the University of Northampton for a creative writing day. There were sessions taken by authors which were really exciting especially Marcus Alexander. The children then also took part in smaller workshop sessions where they had the chance to use their imaginations in different ways including drama. All the children had a great day and lots of fun whilst learning. A big thank you to the University for putting on a fantastic day for the children.

Messages For School - Collection Arrangements
During the school day, the office has been getting inundated with an increasing amount of messages to be passed onto classes regarding changes to collection arrangements for children. Messages for children/teachers must be given to Teachers/Teaching Assistants at the beginning of the school day. Alternatively a written note or a note written in your child's homework diary can be passed on to teachers via your child. If your message is of a more urgent nature, please get these message to the office by 2.30pm where possible.
Your continued support with this is appreciated.
