Science Week!

This week the Greeks and the Normans have been enjoying Science Week. We have carried out investigations and activities such as making wind chimes and dying salt letters. We have been learning all about the seasons of the year and designed and made our own posters.

On Friday we had a special visitor come in to show the whole school lots of Science experiements!

The Not So Ugly Duckling

Once Upon a time… Early Years and Year 1 were treated to a version of The Not So Ugly Duckling, Performed by Aesop’s Theatre Group.

The children all sat beautifully to watch the performance as Part of World Book Day Celebrations. Olivia commented, “I loved the swan puppets.” We had to make the noises for the storm.” recalled Alfie. Some of the children were chosen to take part, so we had frogs and ducks exploring the theatre space!

Gold summed up the performance, “It was very good, the puppets were so good!”
