Owls to Behold
As part of our topic ‘The Owl and the Pussycat’, Tony from Owls to Behold visited Year 2 on Friday 24th February to talk about the owls he rescues. Tony brought several owls along with him and all the children in Year 2 had the opportunity to hold them. We found out about what owls like to eat, what they look like, where they live in the wild and some interesting facts about them. We will be finding out more about owls using the search engine for children ‘Kid-Rex’ and making our own non-chronological report.
Jess: “I liked the visit because the owls were really sweet and we got to hold them. We found out about what they eat”.
