Drumming Sessions - EYFS

On Wednesday the EYFS children took part in an exciting drumming session. The children learned how to play rhythms on drums, cowbells and maracas.

The children all enjoyed exploring the different instruments.


Year 6 SATs

Well done to all Year 6 children who did their SATs tests this week.

Year 6 had a fun day today at 360 Play as a treat for all their hard work during SATs.


School Closure - 8th June 2017

A reminder that the school will be closed on Thursday 8th June 2017 due to the school being used as a polling station for the General Election.

Apologies for any inconvenience this closure may cause but this is beyond the school's control.


Friends Events - Abbey's Got Talent

Abbey's Got Talent will take place on Thursday 18th May 2017 from 6.00 - 7.30pm.

Tickets will be available next week from 2.45pm from the school office and there will be limited tickets available on the door on the night - £3 per adult and children free. All children need to be accompanied by an adult and unfortunately this event is not suitable for pre-school children.

We look forward to seeing who will be crowned the winner of Abbey's Got Talent 2017!



Some of our Hotshots pupils will be taking part in a basketball tournament on Saturday. We wish them luck!


Sports Days

This year our sports days will be held on the following dates:

EYFS - Tuesday 27th June 9.15 - 9.45am (Tuesday 4th July 9.15 - 9.45am if wet)

KS1 - Year 1 & 2 Tuesday 27th June 10.00 - 11.00am (Tuesday 4th July if wet)

KS2 - Year 3 & 4 Monday 26th June 9.45 - 10.45am (Wednesday 5th July if wet)

Year 5 & 6 Monday 26th June 10.45 - 11.45am (Wednesday 5th July if wet)


Sainsburys Vouchers

We are collecting Sainsburys vouchers. Please bring them to the school office. Thank you.

Please continue to book meals via ParentPay a week in advance. The cut off time for all orders is on Mondays 2.00pm for the following week's meals.
